OVERALL JOB SUMMARY

A CSE is technically responsible for multiple systems (up to 150 Members), or a single large/complex system as assigned for Specifications, system design and analysis, customer-design-reviews,test and integration strategy, and for solving system wide issues during integration phases.
Be responsible for working with product management for defining a product line roadmap, or working with business groups for large/complex technical proposals and related customer interactions Drives / participates the company efforts in Industry standard forums.
Forms links with industry / government / academic research institutions to stay abreast & for joint work in areas of common interest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives system design for multiple systems and or single Large/complex system

Organizing & Chairing technical reviews with system-tech-teams to ensure proper specifications, design, ICDs, test strategy, test plan, scope and that critical area have been addressed

Driving system specifications, design and resolution of system issues that surface during implementation, and or reviews similar work done by system technical teams

Key technical choices for an entire product line ensuring high level of technical acceptability of the products

Prepares technical documents / presentations etc. to showcase technology to (potential) customers

Training / Mentoring / Coaching for technical expertise and ability to analyze system level choices and contribution to technical forums and standards bodies etc.

Contributing to organizational initiatives (e.g. mapping future technology / methodology, building new technology skills.)

Summarized Competencies: must have operated at management level for more than 10 years, with Post degree qualification
